Lardeya - a land layed in the northern sea, not much different from any other fantastical country. Yet, there is one thing special to this island: There are people who got blessed by the gods...

Trained to be a high-ranked commander in militar, Vain finds out that he will be trapped on his upcomming promotion. Avoiding trouble, he, his vice commander and the units instructor decide to steal off from the base, accidently running right into the arms of one of the four generals.

They somehow manage to escape him but already got into new trouble by helping a small creature, called sky child - a mystical appearance often mentioned in fairy tales and children's books- not to be eaten by an ancient dragon.

Vain promises to bring 'Suwi' back to were it belongs almost forgetting that he is hunted by his former employer.

Unsure if he will be able to keep his promise, he follows his path while  Lardeya starts to change and the tales of the old "Black War" just seem to become real again.
